FiftyFifty is a five-member multinational girl group under ATTRAKT, which made a renewal comeback in 2024. The group name FiftyFifty means 50 vs 50. It also implies the meaning of ideals, reality, and coexistence in them. FLAKE designed the brand identity of FiftyFifty, a new artist brand. With the meaning of the group name, the logo type was symmetrical, and the original module was rearranged to form FiftyFifty to express the newly born FiftyFifty.
For the expandability of the FiftyFifty brand set in the global market, we used simple and easy forms to design wordmarks and symbols. Considering the readability in various age groups and language areas, we developed the design to look comfortable and popular in general but stylish and attractive at the same time. We excluded sharp or pointed shapes that could be negatively associated, and organized into round and comfortable shapes and thicknesses. After word marks and symbols were determined, we created a logo motion graphic that could show the artist's identity, and later worked together on the mini album design for consistency in the brand experience.
피프티피프티는 2024년 리뉴얼 컴백한 어트랙트 소속 5인조 다국적 걸그룹입니다. 그룹명 피트티피프티는 확률적으로 반반의 의미 50 vs 50을 뜻하고 이상과 현실 그리고 이 속에 공존하는 존재라는 의미도 함께 내포하고 있습니다. 플레이크는 새롭게 시작하는 피프티피프티의 아티스트 브랜드 아이덴티티를 디자인했습니다. 그룹명의 의미를 담아 로고타입의 형태가 대칭을 이루도록 했으며, 원 모듈이 재배열되며 피프티피프티를 이루는 것을 통해 새롭게 탄생한 피프티피프티의 모습을 표현했습니다.
글로벌 시장을 무대로 하는 피프티피프티 브랜드 확장성을 위해 단순하고 쉬운 형태를 활용해 워드마크와 심볼 디자인을 진행했습니다. 다양한 연령대와 언어권에서의 가독성을 고려하고 전반적으로 편안하고 대중적이지만 동시에 세련되고 매력적으로 보일 수 있도록 디자인을 전개했습니다. 부정적인 연상이 될 수 있는 날카롭거나 뾰족한 형태를 최대한 배제하고 둥글고 편안한 형태와 두께감으로 조형적인 정리를 했습니다. 워드마크와 심볼이 결정되고 난 이후, 아티스트의 정체성을 보여줄 수 있는 로고 모션그래픽을 만들었고,이후 브랜드 경험의 일관성을 위해 미니 앨범 디자인을 함께 진행했습니다.
